Involves no actual cutting or jumping

In writing this strip, I happened to recall that, in other parts of the world, the practice of "cutting in line" is referred to as "jumping the queue". It occurs to me just how much more colo(u)rful this turn of phrase is, and I kind of wish, in a way, that we used more terms like that here.

Then again, if we did, I never would have been able to exclaim, like so many other kids in my elementary school, "no cuts, no butts, no coconuts." And really, who would want to give that up?
